AMBERG.MUSEUM

Inclusion

The City Museum would like to give all visitors individual and creative opportunities for cultural participation.
We regularly offer guided tours in German Sign Language, in Simple Language as well as for visually impaired and blind people.
Our website is available in plain language and in German Sign Language. Our museum educational and event rooms are barrier-free. However, due to the historic museum building, not all areas of the permanent exhibition are barrier-free. The ground floor is structurally barrier-free with the areas "Gathered Times" and "The Electoral Amberg". The exhibitions on the famous Amberg artists Josef Friedrich Schmidt, Josef Leonhard Schmid and Michael Mathias Prechtl as well as the special exhibition rooms can be accessed via an elevator.
